VSI managerServer

VSI managerServer is a market-leading product which allows even the most complex integration scenarios to be represented. Focussing on signal, data and device management, managerServer is based on routine medical working procedures and aims to support, simplify and facilitate these as far as possible.

All the managerServer functions can be called up via the VSI client software on VSI systems and PC workstations. In each case, its graphical user interface is generated dynamically by the VSI server, allowing maximum individualization to be achieved.

The extensive integratability of the entire VSI product portfolio is made clear by the user interface and the options available, the consistent platform of which is based on the managerServer software.

managerServer software is used as soon as there is a requirement for implementing concepts for multiple rooms or even sites, with disparate VSI systems, devices and PC workstations to be controlled, for example. Installed on a central server, it controls and monitors all the components in a VSI installation which require integration.

Signal routing between the various devices works in a comparable way to the route planning of a modern navigation system.

managerServer determines the "best" route for a signal transmission, taking account of all parameters, checks the availability of the components and creates the link between source and destination. This is effected among other things when switching image signals to monitors using matrices, for live video transmissions or for image and video recording. Our own server software VSI-NVR (Network Video Recorder) takes care of the processing of images and videos (recording, archiving, distribution) and communicates with managerServer like a device.
