Using VSI enables you to design complex infrastructures which are simple to use. Our aim is to make the "multimedia" operating room simple and intuitive to operate. Regardless of manufacturer, VSI overcomes the barriers presented by proprietary product strategies and harmonizes a wide variety of systems on one platform. The VSI  concept provides the functions and tools to bring together and clearly display medical data and signals from imaging methods precisely where they are needed. The concept includes the recording and playback of all data as well as the control and monitoring of peripheral devices, up to and including premises management. VSI makes it possible to have integrative solutions of any complexity and scale which can be adapted flexibly to suit the requirements of tomorrow.

The attributes variable, scalable, integrative (VSI for short) stand for the new generation of the VSI product family. Variable because they can be used for a broad range of applications from a variety of disciplines. Scalable because they can be expanded infinitely from local image and video documentation (oneTouch) to disparate client/server systems. Integrative because VSI is always understood to be part of a large whole and integrates seamlessly in the relevant working environment and IT infrastructure.
