  • Integration and control of IP room cameras

VSI live transmission

Live video transmissions for workshops and teaching seminars can be implemented simply and cheaply using the VSI oneTouch system and the live streaming (encoder) options together with a VSI client licence.

                             VSI oneTouch

The video signal of the image sources to be transmitted in each case is converted into a digital data stream by the live streaming encoder and made available via the network. The transmission can be controlled directly via the oneTouch System or through the VSI client software installed on a PC in the auditorium, for example. This provides a convenient image control function. The "LectureRoomClient" module allows several live video streams to be displayed in parallel on an additional display or beamer connected to the PC. This function is implemented via the VSI software, i.e. without additional video technology, in top image quality. For bidirectional audio transmission, it is possible to connect the loudspeakers and microphone in the auditorium directly to the inputs and outputs of the PC sound card. In the rooms from which the transmission is taking place, the audio components can be connected to the oneTouch System or the live streaming encoder depending on spatial arrangements. Room cameras which frequently have their own network connection can likewise be incorporated and controlled in the VSI scenario.
